What your quote may include

Dumpster pricing is based on the full service required for your project, not only the size of the container. The quote may account for delivery, pickup, included rental time, material type, expected weight, disposal, travel, access, fuel, labor, and special handling.

Before delivery

  • 01Select a clear, stable placement area that can be safely reached by the delivery truck.
  • 02Tell us about gates, narrow roads, low wires, trees, soft ground, steep grades, vehicles, or other access limitations.
  • 03Confirm whether the placement surface is pavement, concrete, gravel, dirt, or another material.
  • 04Obtain any required property, HOA, city, or right-of-way approvals before delivery.
  • 05Keep the delivery and pickup area clear during the scheduled service window.

Material approval matters

Material acceptance and pricing depend on the disposal facility, container type, weight, and local requirements. Heavy materials, appliances, tires, mattresses, electronics, liquids, chemicals, batteries, paint, refrigerants, and other special items must be disclosed before service.

Safe loading expectations

  • 01Do not load material above the top edge of the container.
  • 02Distribute weight as evenly as practical.
  • 03Do not move the container after delivery.
  • 04Do not add materials that were not approved during quoting.
  • 05Contact the team before pickup if the load or material changed.

Dumpster rental FAQs

01What size dumpster do I need?

The right size depends on the type and volume of material, expected weight, available placement area, and project schedule. Send photos and a project description so the team can recommend a starting point.

02How long can I keep the dumpster?

Rental periods are confirmed in the project quote. Additional time may be available, but it must be approved and may affect the final price.

03What can I put in the dumpster?

Accepted materials vary by project and disposal location. Describe every material type during quoting, especially heavy or special items. Do not add undisclosed materials after delivery.

04Can the dumpster be placed on a driveway?

Placement depends on truck access, surface conditions, property approval, and the delivery plan. The customer is responsible for identifying and approving the placement location. Surface protection and risk should be discussed before delivery.

05Are weight limits included?

The quote should state any included weight and how additional weight is handled. Do not rely on container volume alone because dense materials can reach weight limits before the container is full.

06What is a dry run?

A dry run can occur when delivery or pickup cannot be completed because access is blocked, the placement area is not ready, the container is overloaded, prohibited material is present, or another customer-controlled condition prevents service. Any related charge must be disclosed in the quote or service terms.
